Whiplash Comedy has officially opened at Ponce City Market, bringing a fresh twist to the city’s entertainment scene. Founded by Atlanta comedy veteran Marshall Chiles, the club combines the atmosphere of a 1920s jazz lounge with live stand-up performances. The venue features two uniquely named showrooms: Main Squeeze, a 130-seat space designed for headlining comedians and the club’s signature Heavy Hitters of Atlanta Comedy showcase, and Side Piece, a smaller, more intimate room for comedy, magic, podcasts and other entertainment. And the fun doesn’t stop when the jokes do! Whiplash Comedy also offers a menu of flatbreads, pretzel bites, desserts and more, alongside a full bar serving classic cocktails, beer, wine and nonalcoholic options.
